Collection: Sidescan® Predict

AVA’s Sidescan® Predict is a detection sensor system that uses ultrasonic technology to predict if a collision is likely to occur. It can detect objects in under 200 milliseconds and its learning mode prevents false alarms.

HGVs with a DVS rating of two stars or lower must have a DVS Progressive Safety System. This system includes MOIS, which alerts drivers of any hazards in front of the vehicle. Additionally, a nearside detection system is required to identify vulnerable road users accurately without producing false alarms for static objects.
